“The scriptures are God’s Voice to mankind.” - John Mark Comer

I’ve said this sentence a thousand times, “I’m just not hearing God speak to me.”
I’m sure you have too.
But I’m learning, the reason we don’t hear his voice.. Is because we’re not READING HIS WORD!
God gave us the Bible for a reason. He uses it to speak to us.
And yet we have become so lazy that we just expect to hear him audibly speak, the way our mother calls us to dinner.
It’s not that simple. But it is. It’s as simple as cracking open the Book that God wrote for each and everyone one of us. So use it.
My guess is we’ll start hearing God’s voice a little bit better.
